A large double tine roasting/cooking fork measuring 17" overall with a date stamp of  "1865" on the handle.  The tines extend 3" x 2" across the outside.  The flat end of the handle is almost 1" wide.  The top is curling back into a hanger.  Decorative punching is found at the end of the handle and is what looks like "S" shapes shown in close-up below.  A nicely worked large fork from the mid-1800's.

Very well executed pair of early fire tongs in wrought iron, circa 1850.   Measuring 31 1/2" high overall - the handle is 6" high - the tongs are 4" across the widest point below the hinge.  Close-up of handle below shows nicely formed turned top knob.  Well formed decorative turnings are shown in close-ups below.  Pad grips are full and not burned out - 1 1/2" x 1 1/4".    Restored and in excellent condition.

          Early wrought iron pot pusher, well wrought with a pleasing form made in one piece, from the early 1800's, possibly late 18th century.  This hearth cooking implement was used to push cooking pots onto the coal beds.  Measuring 6 1/4" overall and 6 1/2" across the open front.  The handle/back foot extends 2 3/4".  The front feet are 1 1/2" high while the back foot is 1 3/4" high.  Pushers are a very rare hearth cooking item.

 19th century goose neck copper tea kettle, nice smaller size - 2 quart - measuring 7 3/4" high overall x 6 1/8" diameter at the base and top.  The flat strap handle measures 7 3/4" across and raises 3 3/4" above the kettle.  This kettle has many nice features such as the early dovetailed or tab joint body construction as well as the bottom pictured in close-ups bottom row below.  Original lid has very nice early double scroll finial and an attractive heart shaped tab on the back.  The goose neck spout has the original hinged cover still intact.  Kettle shows nicks and dings of use appropriate for its age, but is basically in sound condition with tight seams and will hold water.

Early three legged iron skillet, 18th century, for standing over embers or coals in fireplaces.  This pan offers a unique pour spout not often seen.  Pan measures 8" diameter across the top with a 6"  x 7/8" handle.  Stands 3 1/2" high overall on three nicely tapered feet which are 1 3/4".  This pan is in good condition but does have some surface pitting and is slightly rough from use and age.  These early pans were cast in one piece - the pour spout is very unusual.

Extremely rare early American cast iron rotary footed fry pan with dated handle - "Patent 1842" - for hearth cooking.  Pan is 11" in diameter x 2 3/4" high at the side and is pinned on the three legged base via the extending pin from the bottom.  The three legged base and handle are all one piece and the pan rotates on the base.  Legs are 2 1/2" high - the entire pan measures 5 1/4" high overall.  The dated handle extends 10" x 1 1/4" wide.  A very hard to find piece of early hearth cookware, not many of which were made.
