An early cast iron sauce pan with early tin lid and top strap handle with a hollow rolled steel extension handle riveted to the cast iron pot.  Handle extends 8 1/4" x 1 1/8" diameter at the open end.  Marked on the bottom MARIETTA C Co., circa 1890.  The Marietta Casting Company was in business in Marietta, PA and were known manufacturers of cast iron cookware, hollow-ware and kettles.  This pot body measures 4 1/2" high with a 6 1/4" diameter both top and bottom.  The lid shows remnants of early green paint - not sure if it was applied by the manufacturer or the product of an artistic housewife.

Nice small size wrought iron turner measuring 8 1/2" overall.  The turner itself is 2" x 2" and the handle is 1/2" at widest with a nicely curled back hanger.  Turner edge shows appropriate long term use wearing.

Early wrought iron fireplace poker, circa 1850, with a nice turned brass grip on the end.  Poker measures 32 1/2" overall with the brass grip being 5 1/2" x 1 3/4" diameter at widest.  The poker bottom is nicely tapered and formed approximately 1/2" square with a 3" extension on the end.  A nicely worked poker in excellent condition - original patina.

   All brass pair of spring fireplace tongs from the Victorian era.  The spring tong has the top arch made from tempered spring brass or steel which is its own spring and doesn't use any other hinged or spring feature for movement.  This pair is all solid brass and has been restored to it's original polished finish.  Measuring 25" overall with a 10" spread at the pads.  The turned handle is 5" and the arched spring portion measures 1 1/2" wide or deep x 2 1/4" across the widest.

   Cast iron stove top tea kettle with swivel lid, iron bail style spiral "cool" handle, marked on the bottom with a J on one side and an H on the other.  This circa 1900 tea kettle measures 7" diameter at the base and stands 8" high without the handle.  The lid swivels to the side to access the 5 1/2" diameter opening.  The base has an off-set bottom that indents about 7/8".  Very nice cast iron tea kettle - the interior has some rust and scaling that needs cleaned out but is in good condition with no cracks or chips.
