A large wrought iron cooking/meat fork with nice execution on the shape of the handle. Measures 18" overall, the double tines are 3" with a 1 3/4" spread. The top is curled to the side for the hanger. Handle is 3/4" across at widest. This fork is in good condition but shows bends in the shape from hard use.

A medium size iron posnet with a deep bowl and molded edge. A three legged hearth cooking pot that stood over embers for fireplace cooking. This pot at 4 3/4" diameter across the top with a 5" handle extension. Stands 4 3/4" high on three flared and tapered feet 1 1/2" high on front two and 1 3/4" high on back foot. This pan is in good condition with a slightly unusual depth and size.

Cast iron Izons & Co. 4 pint tea kettle with original tin lid, stationary strap handle, and enamel lined spout. John Izon was the pioneer in cast iron trade in West Bromwich, England from before 1776 into the 20th century. This circa 1870 tea kettle measures 6" diameter at the base and stands 4 1/4" high without the handle. Very nice cast iron tea kettle with a clean interior showing much of the original tin lining. No cracks and seals are solid - kettle can be used. Original finish with some loss - lid had original brass 3/4" dia. knob.

Nicely formed 19th century wrought iron hitching ring, threaded on the off-side and complete with a early threaded wing nut. Ring is 3 1/4" in diameter outside and 2 1/2" inside measurement. Ring is mounted permanently through an eye at the end of the stud which is 3 3/4" in length overall. The wrought wing nut measures 2 1/2" across shown in close-up below. The hitching ring will mount through a maximum board thickness of 1 1/2". Iron has a nice smooth aged patina.

Nicely formed 19th century wrought iron drive-in hitching ring. Ring is 4" in diameter. The drive-in spike is approx. 5" overall with the eye at one end measuring 1 3/8" in diameter. Iron has a nice smooth patina.
