Early original 18th century cupboard turn catch - all original and complete - not restored.  The small early narrow neck pull knob measures 1 3/8" diameter with a 1 3/8" rosette.  Knob extends 1 1/8" when mounted.  Close-up photo below shows the shallow dimples in the knob.  When mounted knob is turned to raise and lower the catch arm which is behind the door stile.

Antique decorative Victorian pull handle cupboard catches in cast iron, circa 1875.  Back plate measures 3 5/8" x 1" and the handle is 2 1/4" and extends 1 1/8".  When pulled, the bottom of the handle comes out and lowers the inside catch shown from the side above.  The catch keepers, not pictured, mounts on the underside of interior shelf.  Typical catch keepers are pictured with latches Ref. 444-897 below.  Latch is shown in mounted position below.  Restored and complete with screws.

 Victorian cupboard latches in decorative cast iron with porcelain operating knobs on a lift bar mechanism.  A patent date is imprinted above the body of the latch of July 3, 1867.  Brass rivets attach the knob to the bar which is used to lift the bar up and down out of and into the notch in side mounted jamb keeper (left of latch pictured on its side).  There are no springs in these early cupboard latches.   Latch bodies measure 1 7/8" high x 1 7/8" and the knobs are approx. 3/4" diameter.  Keeper is 1 7/8" high and extends 5/8" from jamb.  Restored and complete in excellent condition , ready to install - complete with screws.
