Early wrought iron German kas lock typically used for a German kas or cupboard. These locks surface mount on the back of the door and are not reversible. This lock is for a door hinged on the right. Measures 7 3/4" x 4 1/2" with a 3 1/4" backset to the keyway. The latch draws back by using the key from the front or outside. Oval key escutcheon measures 2 1/2" x 1 3/4" and is a new replacement. Close-up below shows the decorative work on the lock as well as a view from the top looking down to give an idea of the configuration.

Antique Arts & Craft period pull handle cupboard catches in cast iron with original antique copper finish, circa 1900. Back plate measures 3 3/16" x 13/16" and the handle is 2 1/4" and extends 1 1/8". When pulled, the bottom of the handle comes out and lowers the inside catch shown from the side above. The catch keepers, pictured above the catches, mount on the underside of interior shelf. Latch is shown from the side below left and in mounted position below right.

Mid 19th century surface cupboard lock with beveled edge and in original finish. Bolt throws either direction depending on the turn of the key so this lock can be used on both left and right hinged doors. Complete with original key (3") and round brass key escutcheon (1 1/4" dia.) for the outside of the door. Lock measures 2 1/2" high x 3 1/4" deep with a 1 5/8" backset. All original and complete.
