Victorian cast iron steeple tip loose pin butt hinges manufactured during the last half of the 19th century. The top pin can be removed and the hinge becomes two pieces for mounting purposes. This type of hinge can be used on either side of the door and are not handed. The hinges measures 4" x 4" with iron steeple tip finials- restored and in excellent condition. Complete with slotted mounting screws. These hinges are being sold in 3 lots each consisting of 10 pairs (20 hinges).

Nice medium sized pair of typical wrought iron half strap hinges, circa 1820, with the elongated end. These hinges measure 16 1/2" overall x 1 3/4" at widest. Complete with drive-in pintle braces. Aged black finish - not recently restored.

An absolutely huge pair of early antique wrought iron H L hinges from the late 18th or early 19th century. Each hinge weighs approximately seven pounds! Hinges measure an incredible 16" high x 5" across the H and approximately 19" across the L extension. There is a very old weld repair on the one L. The leaves are 1 7/8" wide x 1/4" thick. The joints are in very good condition - hinges are in an old finish, not newly restored.

Early 18th century wrapped joint full strap blanket chest or box hinges. Hinges measure 24" overall x 1 1/2" at widest. The longer more decorative lid strap is 14" and the plainer box strap is 10". End of the lid terminal (below left) shows appropriate age wear as seen in close-up below. Hinges are very old but have much wear left in them - nicely formed. We provide slotted screws for mounting.

These loose joint type of hinges were handed and these are left hand for doors hinged on the right. Hinges measure 2 1/2" high x 2" across the back when open and are in excellent condition. Restored and complete with flat head wood screws for mounting.
