Another pair out of the same location the hinges above - wrought iron "H" hinges from the early 19th century.  This pair measures 6 1/4" high x 2 1/4" across.   Hinges are approximately 2" high at the knuckles.   This pair had four holes drilled out larger and countersunk as shown above.  Restored to a black finish - hinges come with slotted screws.  Well made early hinges in good condition.

Pennsylvania side mount wrought iron hinges, sometimes called mustache hinges - early 1800's.  Hinges measure 10 3/4" high and extend 3".  These hinges do not have mounting pintles included.  Early and beautifully executed wrought hinges often seen in the Pennsylvania German and Moravian communities.  Close-ups below  - hinges are in very good condition and show appropriate age and wear - not recently restored.

  Nicely wrought iron butterfly door hinges, circa 1750.  Hinges measure 2 1/4" high x 2 1/2" wide.  Measuring 1 1/2" high at the three knuckle joints which show age related wear but are still very usable.  One hinge shows minor breakage at the tip (close-up below).  Hinges are in aged finish - not recently restored.
