Early pair of  19th century wrought iron strap hinges - a small size for a small door.  Close-ups below show the ball terminals and the pintles with a threaded mount.  These hinges were nicely made measuring 7" overall x 11/16" at widest at the joint - tapering down to 1/4" and a ball terminal 11/16" in diameter.  Pintles measure 2 3/4" overall with the threaded mount 1 1/2".  These hinges have not been restored and have original aged finish intact.

Cast iron lift-off butt hinges in a small door or cupboard size measuring 2 1/2" high x 2" across the back when open, circa 1865.  This type of hinge is not reversible - this pair is right hand for a door hinged on the left.  Hinges are restored and in good condition.  One pair as pictured above.  Complete with slotted mount screws.

Cast iron tight pin butt hinges signed S. G. Rosh., measuring 3 3/4" high x 3 1/4" across the back when open, circa 1865.  These hinges do not separate and are reversible for either hand door.  Hinges are restored and in good condition.  One pair pictured above - the second pair is pictured below.  Complete with slotted mount screws.

A pair of early wrought iron strap hinges, probably from Pennsylvania circa 1800, with side members in a pleasing flowing design.  Hinges measure 21" overall with the terminal measuring 15" and ending in the ball shape.  The side members have a spread of 7" high.  The hinges are nicely beveled and measure 1 3/4" high at the three knuckles.  Restored to a black finish.  There is some age appropriate wear on the joints as shown in photo.

Pair of early and nicely made wrought iron side hinges, from the 19th century, of German/Swiss influence - probably Pennsylvania in origin.  These hinges have an 8" spread and extend from the 1/2" high joint about 3".   Hinges do not come with pintles.  They are in a black finish that is not recent but is not an original finish either.
