Set of 4 matching and very rare soldier head cloak or coat hooks, in solid cast brass, circa 1840-1860. Each hook extends from the wall 6" and measures 3 1/2" high overall at the front. The integral hand threaded period blunt screws extend 1 1/4" for mounting. Each base has a small screw hole to keep the hooks from turning when mounted. Each in original aged patina although one is a bit lighter than the others as it seems someone tried to polish it at some recent time. The lighter shade hook and one of the untouched hooks are shown for comparison in photo bottom row below. Heavy and well detailed figural cloak hooks.

A set of Victorian acorn style cast iron hat and coat hooks. Hooks measure 2 3/4" high and extends from the wall 3 1/4". Mounting back measures 1 1/2" high x 1". Close-up below shows shape detail from the side. Restored and complete with mounting screws.

A set of three matching decorative Victorian cast iron hat and coat hooks, circa 1885. These large hooks measure 6" high and extend from the wall 4 1/2". Mounting back measures 2 3/4" high x 1 1/2" across. Decorative detail is shown more clearly in close-up below. Restored and complete with screws.

Unusual cast brass hooks the 1930's Moderne style. These sleek and very modern looking hooks measure 2 1/2" high and extend 3 1/4". The mounting back measures 1 5/8" high x 1 1/4" wide. Polished and lacquered to their original bright finish.

Nicely shaped early Victorian acorn style cast iron hat and coat hooks, circa 1880, with integral mount screw on the back. Hooks measure 2 3/4" high and extend from the wall 3 1/2". Side view below shows shape detail. These hooks are all the same size and very similar, but their are very slight differences in the mounting screws showing that hooks may have been manufactured in different batches. These hooks should be screwed into pilot holes.

Large pair of cast iron hat and coat hooks, circa 1895, with double hook arms in two parts. Very Arts & Crafts look in remnants of original plated finish. These hooks are in two parts and are held together when mounted by the center screw. Hooks measure 3" high overall and extend from the wall 4". The mounting back with three additional mount holes measures 2 5/8" high x 1 1/4" wide.

Victorian cast iron Dolphin ceiling hook used primarily for hanging lamps, circa 1875, with 2" mounting screw and 5 1/2" hanging drop between the screwed end and the hook base for especially high ceilings. Overall measurement is 11 1/4" with the dolphin itself measuring 3 3/4" x 2" wide at hook. Nice casting detail and still in an old gold surface finish over the cast iron which may be original.
