Rare wrought iron full strap hinges, serpentine type, attributed to early Bucks County, Pennsylvania, circa 1800. Hinges measure 19" overall across x 1 1/2" at widest point. The curves lift or drop approximately 4". Well executed workmanship, appearance, and condition.

Ref. 500-011 below measures 2" high x 1 3/4" wide open across the back. Each pair are restored to original polished finish and complete with mounting screws.

Early original wrought iron H hinges from the late 18th or early 19th century. Hinges measure 9 3/4" high x 3 1/4" across the H. The ends of the H have a bulbous rounded finish seen a lot in Pennsylvania. One mount hole has been broken out over the years as shown in close-up photo below - more a cosmetic issue than a functional one. The joints are in good condition shown in close-up below - hinges are not newly restored but show aged patina.

Unusual wrought iron full strap hinges in the Hudson Valley (Dutch) style, circa 1780. This style of hinge was expanded usually in circular form to give added nail support near the joint. These hinges are unusual in that the pintle side has a smaller strap called the lower strap. Hinges measure 27" overall x 2 1/4" at widest point. Upper strap sides are 19" while the lower straps are 8" x 1 1/2" at widest. Well executed workmanship, appearance, and condition.

Unusual wrought iron full strap hinges from the 19th century. Hinges measure 33" overall across with each side measuring 16 1/2" and 2 1/4" high at the pintle. Nice early hinges with ball ends, restored and in good condition.

A pair of early antique wrought iron H L hinges from the late 18th or early 19th century. Hinges measure 10" high x 3" across the H and approximately 7 1/2" across the L extension. The leaves are approx. 7/8". The joints are in good condition with minor wear and measure 3 1/4" high at the knuckles - hinges are in an old finish, not newly restored.
