Victorian decorative cast iron mail slot, manufactured by the Reading Hardware Company, late 1800's in their Windsor pattern.  Measuring 7 1/8" x 2 1/4" outside dimensions with a slot opening of 4 1/4" x 1".  The interior open plate pass through is also 7 1/8" x 2 1/4" outside measurement.  Complete and restored.  This size letter slot is no longer legal for today's mail.
