Antique Victorian cylinder style front door escutcheon plate in cast brass, circa 1895. Measuring 10" x 2 3/4" and in original patina. Spacing is 3 1/2". Photo below right pictures the plate from the back showing the darkened aged brass. The front shows a darker patina under the paint. Decorative detail shown in photo below. Sold AS IS.

Antique cast iron porch irons or porch post feet. These supports were used under porch posts to elevate them and help stop post rot. Each iron measures a 1 1/2" high rise which does not including the mounting pintle that is an additional 1" rounded mount that goes into the post bottom. The feet have a 5 1/2" spread with the mount holes spaced 4 1/2" on center. These iron have been cleaned and finished with a metal finish that can be painted over for an exterior finish. Each iron weighs about 12 ounces.

19th Century cast iron carriage nails, measuring 1 1/2" overall. The nail heads extend 1/2" and have rounded base 1/2" in diameter. The top of the nail head is 3/8". These nails have 5/8" threaded screws for mounting. In original finish. These nails were used for upholstery and any where a tack was needed. They make great picture hangers.

A cast iron high relief plaque of George Washington measuring 4 1/8" in diameter. Nice early casting detail from the 19th century - possibly the Centennial celebration in 1876. In original black finish.

Very early original wrought iron porch irons from the early to mid 18th century with penny feet. These supports were used under the porch posts to elevate them and stop post rotting. Irons measure 2 5/8" high - 3 1/4" high - 3 3/8" high. Platform mounts are peened onto the tri-pod feet. Two mounts measure 3" square and one measures 4" square. There is a repair on one foot. As is - not restored.
