Single collectible door knob, cast bronze, circa 1870, manufactured and signed "Mnf'd by Metallic Compress. Casting Co. Boston (Metallic Compression Casting Company in Boston, MA). Attributed for their early and ground breaking decorative compression casting. This rare knob features the center ring of grapes on vines - design patent # 4131 by J.J.C. Smith. Center has very good detail - edges show wear from use. Photo below right shows manufacturers impression on back of knob. Shank is slightly loose. Knob is in original patina.

Early 1880's beautifully cast bronze Victorian door knobs manufactured by P. & F. Corbin. These knobs have excellent relief detail in the Brocade design and are in original patina. The unusual shape is shown in side photo below right. Knobs are on original spindle with side knob screws.

Circa 1900 beautifully cast bronze door knobs - cherub head centered in a sunburst. These knobs have excellent relief detail and are in original patina. Edging is an egg and dart pattern. Knobs are on their original 3/8" split spindle. One knob is pinned and the other has the threaded shank application as shown in photo below right. These are a screwless knob mount.

Heavy cast brass turn of the last century door handles, measuring 10" high overall x 1 1/4" diameter at widest. Handles have a grip opening of 7" and a permanent 2" diameter rose which is part of the handle. Handle mounts from the back as seen below from the side - mounting screws are not included. Restored to original finish and lacquered.
