Vintage decorative cast bronze door viewers, patented in 1927 by George Ackerman, Inc. New York.  Viewers are in original bronze highlights on black background finish, very Deco in design.  The viewers measure 3 1/2" in diameter and the name plate at the top is 1/2" high x 2" wide.  The viewers are one-way mirrors - from the exterior you see yourself reflected.  From the inside up close against the viewer you can see everything clearly outside.  The back opens for access to view on a swivel hinge using the release catch to open and close the back.  We believe these are new old stock that were never used but have been in storage as they show some age but no wear.  They are adjustable for any door thickness.  Front and back are connected by two 6 - 32 flat head machine screws which are not included - specific lengths must be purchased for each individual door thickness.
