Two matching pairs of Windsor pattern, drum style door knobs manufactured by the Reading Hardware Co., in cast bronze, circa 1880's.  These knobs have excellent detail and are in original patina.  Measures 2 1/4" in diameter - knobs are on original spindle complete with original side knob screws.  Being sold as is - not restored.

Ornate heavy cast bronze Victorian door knobs, circa 1890's, in an unusual scalloped edge design.  These knobs have excellent raised detail and are in original patina.  Measures 2 1/4" in diameter - knobs are on original spindle complete with original side knob screws.  Being sold as is - not restored.

A complete series of 25 "Interesting Door Knockers" trade cards by Churchman Tobacco Co., 1928.  These 2 5/8" x 1 3/8" trade cards were included in their cigarette packs and a favorite collectible for both young and old.  The set includes knockers from Windsor Castle, Number 10 Downing Street, Lambeth Palace, Chepstow Castle, Charles Dicken's knocker.  Wonderful colors are still vivid - the back shown above right gives a history of each door knocker and/or where it is located.  There are four extra cards that are duplicates in addition to the set of 25 - total of 29 cards.  All in good condition.  These are authentic tobacco cards and not the reprints that were produced recently.
