Roggins thumb latch in cast iron manufactured circa 1875, with a different and more unusual bar set shown below.  Handle measures 7" x 1 7/8" across at widest and latch has a 3 7/8" grip opening.  Latch will all fit a door up to 1 1/2" thick and is restored, reversible, and complete, ready to install.  Parts include the handle pictured above and the latch set below with back plate with unusual configuration and unusual bar necessary for it, a staple, a privacy lock, and the jamb keeper.  Bar set measures approximately 3 3/4" across x 2 1/2" high.  When mounted, the end of the thumb lift protrudes through the door and rests under the bar to operate the bar latch and also acts as a grasp to lift the bar from the bar latch side.  The privacy lock is mounted above the bar in the top staple hole as shown below in the unlocked position.  This privacy lock can be swiveled downward against the bar so the latch cannot be opened by the handle on the other side.  Restored and complete with slotted screws.
