A wrought iron English Carpenter Lock, manufactured and signed Carpenter & Co. Patentees - the keeper is signed Carpenter Patentee also. The carpenter patented latch lifts up and down instead of moving in and out, hence the cutout keeper. The lock body itself measures 7" x 4 7/8" (at front edge) x 7/8" without the keeper which mounts on the door jamb and measures 1 1/2" wide. This lock is non-reversible, right hand only. Brass seal states Carpenter & Co. Patentees with the Rampant Lion & Unicorn. Lock is restored and complete with original narrow neck brass knobs measuring 1 7/8" diameter, original brass key escutcheon (1 7/8" x 1 3/8"), and original iron key. The brass rosette is our own new replacement. Comes complete with mounting screws. Knobs are currently spaced to fit a door 1 1/2" thick - can be modified to fit customer's particular door thickness upon request.

A wrought iron Harper carpenter
style lock, circa 1830. The Carpenter patented mechanism lifts up and down
instead of moving in and out, hence the cutout keeper. This lock body only
measures 5" x 4 1/4" x 13/16" without the brass trimmed original
keeper which mounts on the door jamb and measures 1 1/8". Lock is right hand
only and non-reversible. Brass seal on these locks states No. 60 Improved Lock
(close-up pictured below) with an eagle. Lock is restored and complete with
all original trim - brass
knobs measuring 1 3/4" diameter showing some surface dings & age marks and
the key
escutcheon is 1 11/16" x 1 1/4". Key is iron. Lock is set up for a 1 3/8" door
presently but can be modified on site for other door thicknesses. Comes
complete with slotted mounting screws.

A wrought iron carpenter
style lock, circa 1820, manufactured and with a seal of R. Halldorn
Latebudger & Co. showing No. 60 with a lion (close-up pictured
below). The Carpenter patented mechanism lifts up and down
instead of moving in and out, hence the cutout keeper. This lock body only
measures 4 7/8" x 4 5/16" x 13/16" without the brass
trimmed original keeper which mounts on the door jamb and measures 1 3/8".
Lock is left hand only and non-reversible. Lock is restored and complete with original brass
knobs measuring 1 1/2" diameter in very good condition, and original brass
escutcheon (2" x 1 1/2"), and iron key. Brass rosette is out own new
replacement. Lock is set up for a 1 1/8" door
presently but can be modified on site for other door thicknesses. Comes
complete with slotted mounting screws.

An early square cornered Pennsylvania German or Dutch Elbow passage latch for interior use with no keyed deadbolt, circa 1840. Levers are spoon style. The off-side handle has round rosette shown below in mounted position bottom row below. Lock body measures 3 3/8" x 5 1/4" deep x 1" and offers a slide privacy bolt operated by the finger slide seen at the bottom of the latch. This type of lock is not reversible and is right hand only and will fit a door up to 1 1/4" thick maximum without modification. Lock is in excellent condition, restored, and complete with keeper shown to the right of the lock and comes with all mounting screws. Interior works shown in back photo below right.

Antique open work wrought iron surface mount plate latch, circa 1800, called a keyhole latch due to it's shape resembling a keyhole on it's side. Latch measures an unusually large 6" x 3 1/4" high without the keeper which is additional 3/4" wide on the jamb. Accompanied by early original oval knobs measuring 1 1/2" x 1 1/4". Exterior knob and rosette are pictured above the latch. This type of lock is not reversible and is right hand only and is currently set up for a 1 1/8" door but can be modified to fit your specific door thickness upon request. Latch is in excellent condition, restored, and complete with replacement surface mount keeper shown to the right of the lock. Restored and complete with slotted screws. Very early cast iron American carpenter style lock manufactured circa 1850. Lock has the Carpenter style latch that operates up and down instead of in and out. The cutout keeper allowed the latch to release when the knob is turned and the latch lifted. This lock has a beveled molded edge and is not reversible - right hand only. Lock measures 4 7/8" high x 3 7/8" wide x 1" without the 1 1/2" keeper. Original brown swirl minerals knobs are 2 1/4" in diameter and trim is cast iron. Lock is restored and complete with key, ready to install. Lock body shows minor surface pitting appropriate to age and use. Comes with slotted mounting screws.

Large cast iron Victorian horizontal rim lock for entry door or interior use, manufactured by P. & F. Corbin Co. with a patent date on the left hand side of Apr. 2, 1878. The early P & F C logo in a diamond is shown below on the right hand side only. Lock measures 3 1/2" high x 5 1/4" without the jamb keeper which is an additional 15/16". Lock is reversible, shown as left hand above and right hand below. This lock offers a night latch at the bottom of the lock which allows you to lock the door knobs for privacy rather than using the keyed deadbolt. Restored with original unusual porcelain door knobs with center mount - the spindle passes through the knobs which are attached via the screw on each end showing in the center of the knobs. Rosette and key escutcheon are cast iron with iron key. All original - ready to install - complete with screws. Horizontal cast iron rim locks which mounts on the surface of the door, manufactured and signed MW&Co. (Mallory Wheeler & Company), circa 1870. Lock measures 3 3/8" high x 4 3/8" deep and are reversible. Keeper is an additional 3/4". Locks are a night latch found at the top which allow you to lock the knobs for privacy. Restored with original white porcelain door knobs and complete with cast iron rosette, key escutcheon, and one key for each lock (keys are different as pictured) - ready to install.
