Massive commercial surface mount top or chain bolt in cast iron, circa 1910, with original black finish over cast iron . Bolt is new old stock in excellent working order. Each bolt weighs in at 7 pounds each and measures 12" overall (just the bolt body without keeper) x 3 3/8" at mount holes x 1 1/4" thick. The jamb keeper is an additional 2 5/8" at the top x 3 3/8". Bolt is all original but the attached pull chain of 28" is a new replacement. The long pull chain was used to for easy access to the top bolt on taller doors without excessive reaching. Great for outbuildings, barns, stables, etc.

Antique cast iron surface mount barrel bolt, measuring 7 3/4" overall including keeper from the 19th century. The bolt itself measures 6 3/8"deep (without the keeper) x 1 7/8" high - keeper is 1 3/8" additional. Bolt throws 1 1/2" and locks into position via the slotted case as shown in close-ups of throw below. Bolt is reversible and throw knob is brass extending 1 1/4". Restored and complete with mounting screws.

A double cylinder mortise style dead bolt with nickel cylinders and trim manufactured by P. & F. Corbin, circa early 20th Century. This bolt is in the original nickel finish on the face and strike, measuring 3 1/2" deep x 2 1/2" high x 3/4" with a backset of 2 1/2". The bolt throws 1/2". Accompanied by cylinders for interior and exterior as well as high profile and low profile trim rings. Two keys included. Check your local ordinances - some areas do not allow keyed cylinders on the inside of residential buildings.

Small Colonial Revival bolt, circa 1920, in wrought iron for cabinets or small doors. This bolt throws either direction by turning the brass "T" operator (1" across). Measuring 3 1/8" high overall x 1 1/8" wide. The bolt throws 3/4". The replacement keeper, hand wrought in our own shop, measures 2" high x 1/2" wide. Comes complete with mounting screws.

Wood and wrought iron stock lock from the early 1800's. This type of iron bolt was encased in a wood surface mount body with wrought iron side supports. Non-reversible, left hand only, the bolt measures 5 1/4" high x 8" wide x 1 1/4" thick. Front, shown above, has decorative side braces at each end - a close-up is shown below right. The bolt is 1 5/8" high and throws 3/4". Original brass key is 4 1/4". Back of lock, below left, shows iron bolt in wood body.

Early wrought iron surface mount cupboard dead bolt, circa 1820. Lock mounts on the inside of the door and is made for a left hand mount - this is a cupboard door hinged on the right and opening out. Measuring 5" x 3 1/4" with a 2 1/4" backset. Accompanied by original 5" key. Back of lock is pictured below.
