Early wrought iron surface mount slide bolt w/surface mount keeper, early 19th century. Back plate measures 12" x 2". The bolt throws 1 1/2" and is 5/8" square. The extended grasp at the end of the bolt extends 1 1/2". The surface mount keeper is 2 1/4" x 7/8". Early full strap mounts are riveted onto back plate and holds the slide bolt in position. Spring operated and appropriate for either vertical or horizontal use. Restored to black finish and complete.

A circa 1870's surface mount rim style keyed security dead bolt, marked BLW (Branford Lock Works) and measuring 5 1/2" high x 3 1/2" x 1 1/4" without the keeper. Keeper is additional 1 1/4" wide. The backset is 2 1/4" and takes a thin flat key. The bolt is 1 3/4" high and extends 3/4". Bolt is reversible and can be mounted as left or right hand. The accompanying key escutcheon measures 2 5/8" x 1 5/8". Restored and complete with mounting screws.

Antique Victorian foot bolts, surface mount, in decorative cast iron, circa 1890. Bolts measure 5" high x 2" at widest x 3/4". This type of bolt was used on the bottom of the door and has a spring loaded toe release button that retracts the bolt without reaching down (shown in close-up below). The top push is flat allowing you to step on it to engage the bolt by pressing downward. Floor keeper measures 2 7/8" x 1 1/16" x 1/2" deep. Bolt extends 1/2". Restored and complete with slotted mounting screws.

Antique wrought and cast iron 19th century surface mount barrel bolts, measuring 4"deep (without the keeper) x 1 1/8" high - keeper is 1 1/8" x 1 1/8" additional. Bolt throws 3/4" and locks into position via the slot in the case as shown in close-up below. Bolt is reversible and throw knob is iron. Restored to black finish and complete with slotted mounting screws.
