Antique wrought iron surface mount barrel bolt w/surface mount keeper. Back plate measures 9 3/4" x 2". The bolt throws 1 3/4" and is 5/8" diameter. The extended knob for operation rises 1" off the back plate. The surface mount keeper is 2 1/8" x 1 1/2". Early full strap mounts are riveted onto back plate and holds the slide bolt in position. The bolt locks into either open or locked position. Restored to black finish and complete.

AS FOUND - not restored. A solid brass barrel bolt complete with keeper from the first half of the 1900's. Bolt side measures 4 1/8" x 1 3/8" while the keeper side measures additional 1 1/4" x 1 3/8". The bolt throws 7/8". Operating knob measures 7/16" diameter. The keeper wraps around the face of the frame and measures 7/8" - shown in angled photo below. Bolt is in working condition and complete with keeper but finish is not restored.

Complete vintage foot bolts, surface mount, in plain cast iron, circa 1920, as found in their original dull bronze plated finish and not restored. Bolts measure 3 3/8" high x 1 11/16". This type of bolt was used on the bottom of the door and has a spring loaded toe release button that retracts the bolt without reaching down (shown in close-up below). The top push is flat allowing you to step on it to engage the bolt by pressing downward. We are adding cast iron floor keepers as shown in photo above that measures 2 1/16" x 7/8" and are cast iron not matching the plated finish of the bolts. Bolt extends 1/2". A sampling of the bolts are shown in photos below as the condition of the finish varies as shown.

Wrought iron hasp measuring 9 1/2" deep x 1 1/4" high overall and is
not reversible for use on a left hand door only as shown. Accompanied by two wrought iron
staples. The hasp was
attached with one staple. This type of latch
was used for many applications during the 18th and 19th century wherever a door
needed a one sided catch with a spike/stick or to be secured with a padlock.
For the most part they were used in exterior applications and show surface
pitting from weather and age as this one does. Not restored, in original
patina and aged surface.

Early wrought iron hook and eye. Hook extends 7 1/4" with a 1 3/4" deep hook. Accompanied by 2 replacement drive-in staples - one to mount and one as the hook eye. Staples were driven in an clinched to hold in place.
