 Heavy cast bronze trim accompanies this Victorian mortise lock set, manufactured circa 1885, accompanied by a Branford Lock Works lock marked BLW.  Escutcheon plates measure 8 1/2" x 2 1/4" and are in bronze with matching 2 1/4" diameter knobs - heavily ornate and cast.  Both plates and knobs are restored with a lacquer finish.  Accompanied by original mortise lock, (shown below center) restored with plain bronze face (5 5/16" x 7/8") and with key.  The jamb strike is a new replacement in brass.  Lock is reversible.  Ready for installation.  Slotted mounting screws are included.
