Decorative wrought bronze double keyed entry or "front door" lock, manufactured circa 1890 by the Reading Hardware Company in a pattern called Windsor. Exterior double key escutcheon plate measures 7 3/8" x 1 7/8". Trim is complete with matching interior rosette (2") and key escutcheon (1 3/4" x 1 1/8"). The door knobs measure 2 1/4" diameter. Mortise lock has a plain bronze face (6 7/8" x 1"), a 2 9/16" backset, and is reversible for either hand. Restored and complete with replacement brass strike shown below. Both top and bottom key are provided. Top key way operates the latch when the outside door knob is locked with button on the face of the lock. The bottom key operates the dead bolt. Bronze trim is restored to original appearance with a lacquer finish - set is complete and ready to install - we provide slotted bronze mount screws.
