Very large entry wrought iron rim lock, circa 1800, with original narrow neck brass door knobs.  Lock body measures 8 1/4" x 5" x 1 1/4" without the keeper and is non-reversible, left hand only.  Our own hand wrought replacement keeper features brass trim on the edge and measures 1 1/2" width additional.   Lock is restored, in excellent condition, and complete with early original brass narrow neck knobs, 1 7/8" in diameter.  Accompanied by original brass rosette and oval brass key escutcheon (2 1/8" x 1 5/8").  This lock offers a slide privacy bolt operated by the brass finger slide found at the bottom of the lock (shown in photo below right).  Photo bottom row below shows the lock quality mechanism from the back.   We will fit the door knobs to your door thickness - please provide measurement in the Comments Section.   Original key is 4 3/4".  Restored and complete with slotted mounting screws.
