Cast iron Victorian vertical rim locks which mount on the surface of the door, manufactured circa 1885. Locks measure
4" high x 3 1/8" without the jamb keeper which is an additional 5/8". Locks are reversible, shown as right hand above and left hand below with white porcelain knobs. Back set is 2 1/2". The night latch at the top of the locks has been removed as shown in photo below right. This was a common practice when small children were present since there is no emergency entry once the privacy is engaged. Accompanied with original cast iron rosette and key escutcheon. Locks are keyed and keys may vary in appearance. Ready to install - complete with screws. We will hand your locks as needed upon request - please include information in the Comments Section.
