Quantity:

    An early cast iron American rim lock circa 1840's.  Lock measures 5" x 3 1/4" x 3/4" and is not reversible - left hand only.  Keeper is additional 1" x 3 1/4".  Early configuration of bolt at the top with the latch at the bottom of the lock body - keyhole is horizontal to the knob hole. Original brass knobs are 1 3/4" in diameter with brass rosette and are adjustable.  Swinging cover cast brass key escutcheon measures 2 1/2" x 3/4".   Lock is restored, complete, and in excellent condition - ready to install.  Photo below right shows period partial open back plate and brass bolts.  Key is brass.  Comes with slotted screws.
