Cast iron Victorian vertical rim lock which mounts on the surface of the door, manufactured and signed by Norwich Lock Co. (both sides) with their distinctive decorative pattern around the keyway.  The patent date imprinted on both sides of the lock is Sept. 20, 1870.  Lock measures 6" high x 4" wide without the jamb keeper which is an additional 1 1/8".  Lock is reversible, shown as left hand above and right hand below.  Back set is 2 7/8".  Accompanied with original cast iron rosette, key escutcheon, one key, and original age crazing on the white porcelain door knobs.  Ready to install - complete with screws.  We will hand your lock as needed upon request - please include information in the Comments Section.
