Large cast iron Victorian horizontal rim lock for entry door or interior use, manufactured circa 1880.  Lock measures 4" high x 5 1/2" deep x 3/4" without the jamb keeper which is an additional 1 1/16".  Lock is reversible, shown as left hand above and right hand below.  This lock offers a third bolt - a slide privacy latch as opposed to the normal night latch for privacy.  The slide bolt is seen at the bottom of the lock is operated by the iron finger slide seen on the bottom edge.  Restored with original swirl mineral door knobs, cast iron rosette, key escutcheon, and key.  All original except for the key which is a later replacement - ready to install - complete with screws.  We will hand your lock as needed upon request - please include handing information in the Comments Section.
