Horizontal rim lock manufactured and signed by the Russell & Erwin Mfg. Co., circa 1880, matching Ref. 241-562 above.  This lock offers a slide privacy bolt operated by the brass finger slide visible in the cutout in the middle of the lock body.  Lock measures 4 3/8" x 3 3/8" high and is reversible - shown as left hand above and right hand below.  The keeper is an additional 7/8" wide.  The manufacturer's signature (R & E Co. USA) shows in the center of the design below on the right hand side only as shown below.  Restored and complete with original black jet door knobs, cast iron rosette, key escutcheon, and one key.   Comes complete with slotted screws.
