Victorian screen door latch in decorative cast iron, circa 1880, with cast iron knobs and exterior rosette.  Surface mount rim style offers privacy function by locking the knobs via the push toggle seen on the top and bottom of the latch case.  Latch itself measures 1 7/8" x 2 1/4" high and is reversible.  Knobs are 1 1/4" in diameter.  Exterior knob and rosette (2 1/4" x 1") are pictured above latch.  Close-up below of the latch and decorative jamb strike.  Complete, restored, and ready to install - comes with slotted screws.

Victorian screen door latch in decorative cast iron, manufactured by Sargent & Co. with a patent date on the back of July 14, 1891.  Surface mount rim style offers privacy function by locking the knobs via the brass toggle seen in the center of the latch body beside the knob.  Latch itself measures 1 7/8" x 2 1/4" high and is reversible.  Knobs are 1 3/8" in diameter.  Exterior knob and rosette (2 1/4" x 1") are pictured below right in mounted position.  Close-up below left of the latch and jamb strike.  Complete, restored, and ready to install - comes with slotted screws.
