  Highly ornate horizontal rim passage latch, manufactured, circa 1885.  Lock measures 2 1/4" high x 3 5/8" without the keeper which is additional 1".  Latch is reversible simply by turning the latch in whatever handing direction needed.  Left hand position is shown above, right hand below.  Matching decorative cast iron knobs measure 2 1/8" in diameter x 3/8" thick with a fairly flat profile.  The latch has a slide night latch to lock the door knobs for privacy operated by the finger slide seen in the center of the latch.  Restored and complete with original matching cast iron door knobs and rosette, latch is ready to install - complete with screws.
