Restored cast iron Victorian vertical rim locks manufactured circa 1885, and signed Corbin in the oval (P.F. & Corbin Mfg. Co.) on each side.  Locks measure 4" high x 3 1/4" deep without the jamb keeper which is an additional 3/4".  Locks are reversible, shown as right hand above and left hand below.  This lock offers a privacy latch seen on the top of the lock which allows the door knobs to be locked for privacy rather than using the keyed dead bolt.  Restored with buyer's choice of original white porcelain or brown mineral door knobs and complete with cast iron rosette, key escutcheon, and key.  All original - ready to install - complete with screws.  We will hand your locks as needed upon request - please include handing information in the Comments Section.

 Cast iron Victorian vertical rim lock which mounts on the surface of the door, manufactured and signed Norwich on both sides (Norwich Lock Co. out of Norwich, Conn).  Lock measures 4 3/8" x 3 3/8" and is reversible handing.  The patent dates of Jan. 12, 1864 and Sept. 20, 1870 are imprinted on the top of each side of the lock.   Keeper is 7/8" additional.  Lock has a night latch located on the back edge of the lock body which allows the knobs to be locked for privacy without using the keyed deadbolt.  Restored with original white porcelain door knobs showing light crazing and significant age discoloration.   Accompanied by original cast iron rosette, key escutcheon, and one key.  Shows nice early decorative features around the keyhole.   Complete with slotted screws.  We will hand your lock if you provide us with the handing of your door in the Comments Section.
