Large cast iron Victorian vertical rim lock for an exterior or interior door, manufactured circa 1880.  Lock measures 5 3/4" x 4" without the 1 1/8" keeper and is reversible - shown left hand above and right hand below.  Lock has a night latch at the top of the lock which allows you to lock the door knobs for privacy without using the keyed bolt.   Restored, complete with original brown mineral door knobs, cast iron rosette, and key escutcheon.  Lock is keyed and ready to install.

Large cast iron Victorian vertical rim lock for an exterior or interior door, manufactured circa 1885.  Lock measures 5 3/4" x 3 3/4" without the 1" keeper and is reversible - shown right hand above and left hand below.  Lock has a night latch at the top of the lock which allows you to lock the door knobs for privacy without using the keyed bolt.   Restored to a black finish and complete with original white porcelain door knobs, cast iron rosette, and decorative cast iron key escutcheon (2 1/8" x 3/4").  Lock is keyed and ready to install.

Large cast iron Victorian vertical rim lock for an exterior or interior door, manufactured circa 1880, by the Reading Hardware Co.  The RHCo. keystone logo in a circle shows on the left hand side only - see photo below left.  Lock measures 5 1/4" x 3 1/2" without the 1" keeper and is reversible - shown right hand above and left hand below.  Lock has a night latch at the back side of the lock which allows you to lock the door knobs for privacy without using the keyed bolt.   Restored, complete with original brown swirl mineral door knobs, cast iron rosette, and key escutcheon.  Back set is 2 3/4".  Lock is keyed and ready to install.
