Large cast iron Victorian vertical rim lock for an exterior or interior door, manufactured circa 1880.  Lock measures 5 3/4" x 4" without the 1 1/8" keeper and is reversible - shown left hand above and right hand below.  Lock has a night latch at the top of the lock which allows you to lock the door knobs for privacy without using the keyed bolt.   Restored, complete with original brown mineral door knobs, cast iron rosette, and key escutcheon.  Lock is keyed and ready to install.

Larger size cast iron Victorian vertical version rim lock which mounts on the surface of the door, manufactured and signed RHCo. (Reading Hardware Co.) on the left hand side only as shown in close-up below, circa 1880.  Lock measures  5 3/4" x 4" and is reversible handing.    Keeper is an additional 1".  Lock has a slide privacy bolt operated by the brass finger slide in the center of the lock.  Restored with original white porcelain door knobs and complete with cast iron rosette, key escutcheon, and key - ready to install.  Comes with slotted screws.
