Decorative Victorian vertical rim lock, manufactured and signed by Norwalk Lock Co., on the right hand side and showing a patent date of  July 21, 1863 on the left hand side.  This antique rim lock in cast iron measures 4 1/4" high x 3 3/8" without the keeper which is additional 7/8".   Lock is reversible and all original.   Restored, complete with an original white porcelain door knobs, cast iron rosette and key escutcheon.  These locks offer a slide privacy bolt at the bottom of the lock, operated by the protruding finger slide which can be seen in photo below.  Restored and complete with slotted mounting screws.
