   Large size cast iron Victorian vertical rim lock for an exterior or interior door, manufactured and signed by the Norwich Lock Co., on the left hand side with patent dates on the right hand side of  Jan 12, 1864 and Sept. 20, 1870.  Lock measures 6" x 4" without the 1" keeper and is reversible - shown right hand above and left hand below.  Lock has a night latch on the back edge of the lock which allows you to lock the door knobs for privacy without using the keyed bolt.   Restored, complete with original brown mineral swirl door knobs, cast iron rosette, and key escutcheon - all original.  Lock is keyed and ready to install.
