 Cast iron Victorian vertical rim lock which mounts on the surface of the door, manufactured and signed by M.W. & Co. - Mallory Wheeler & Company.   On the left hand side is M.W. & Co. New Haven - this side is like new.  The right hand side has raised printing declaring Pat. May 5, 1863 and June 7, 1864 and this side shows some spots of light pitting from long time exposure.  Lock measures 6" high x 4" wide without the jamb keeper which is an additional 1".  Lock is reversible, shown as left hand above and right hand below.  Back set is 3".  Accompanied with original cast iron rosette and key escutcheon, and one key.  Ready to install - complete with screws.  We will hand your lock as needed upon request - please include information in the Comments Section.
