      Early American beveled non-reversible cast iron rim lock, manufactured and signed on the back by Davenport Mallory & Company, which was only in business from 1861 to 1865.  Lock is non-reversible - left hand only.  Measures 5" x 3 5/8" without the keeper which is 1" additional.   Backset is 2 11/16".  Restored and complete with cast iron trim, early original swirl mineral door knobs, and one key.  Restored, complete, and ready to install - comes with slotted mounting screws.  Photo below right shows the subtle bevel of the keeper which is repeated on the lock but is hard to see when looking straight on.
