  Early Suffolk style thumb latch in wrought iron, early 19th century, featuring nicely formed dominate upper cusp (2 1/2" at widest).  Thumb press is a flat notches lift with a curved finger pull lift (shown below left) which will accommodate a door up to 1 1/4" thick.   Handle measures 9 1/8" high x 2 1/2" at widest point across.  Hand grasp is 3 1/2" with a 5/8" wide flat front.  The accompanying wrought replacement bar set, pictured below right,  has a 8" bar with a 1 3/4" high drive-in staple and a drive-in jamb keeper.  Restored and complete - comes with mounting screws.

Suffolk style thumb latch in wrought iron circa 1760, featuring arrow shaped cusps.  Thumb press is flat with a notched lift that is nicely curved (shown below center) which will accommodate a door up to 1 5/8" thick. Handle measures 14" high x 2 1/2" at widest point across.  Hand grasp has a 5 1/2" grip opening and is nicely worked into a 6" flat handle measuring 1" wide.  The accompanying replacement bar set, below right,  has a 7 3/4" bar,  1 3/4" high drive-in staple, and a drive-in keeper.  Restored and complete - comes with mounting screws.

Antique Suffolk thumb latch in wrought iron from the early 1800's, featuring a dominant upper cusp and a smaller lower cusp.  Excellently executed handle measures approximately 10 3/4" high overall x 2" at widest on upper cusp and 2 1/4" widest at the bottom cusp - hand grasp is 5" inside and is rounded.  Side view of flat thumb press below shows the straight pivot lift to grasp on the offside that will accommodate a door up to 1 3/8" thick.  The accompanying bar set, pictured below,  is a wrought iron replacement set with a 7 3/4" bar,  1 3/4" high drive-in staple, and a drive-in keeper.  Comes complete with screws.

Large Suffolk swivel style thumb latch in wrought iron from circa 1800, featuring arrow shaped cusps with the thumb press below the cusp.  Thumb press is flat with a pivot lift slightly curved as shown below which will accommodate a door up to 1 1/2" thick. Handle measures 10" high x 2 5/8" at widest point across the cusp.  Hand grasp has a 3" grip opening and is nicely worked into a nice wide flat handle measuring 3/4" wide with double incised decorative lines.  The accompanying bar set, pictured below,  is a wrought iron replacement set with a 7 3/4" bar,  1 3/4" high drive-in staple, and a drive-in keeper.  Comes complete with screws.

A Suffolk thumb latch in wrought iron from the early 19th century.  Thumb press is flat below the cusp and has a straight pivot lift which will accommodate up to a 1" thick door.   Lift can be extended to fit thicker door upon request in the Comments Section.  Handle measures 7 1/2" high x 1 3/8" wide rounded cusps.  Hand grasp has a 3 3/4" grip opening and is worked into a wide flat handle measuring 3/4" wide.  Accompanied by a our own replacement bar set, pictured below, with a 6 1/2" bar, a 1 1/2" high drive-in staple, and drive-in keeper measuring 2 1/2" overall and extending approximately 1" when mounted.  Comes complete with screws.
