Early swing arm decorative cast iron Victorian sash or window locks, patent date impressed on keepers May 14, 1872. Arm swivels and catches onto the edge of the keeper. Lock base measures 2 1/4" x 1" x 1 1/4" high at finial. Keepers measure 2 1/4" x 7/8" needed to mount. Arms extend 2" and are decorative. Locks are in original finish. Complete with screws, and ready to install.

Cast iron Victorian shell shutter dogs, manufactured in the last half of the 19th century. These dogs are mounted on long arms to be mounted on the exterior window sill primarily for stone or brick houses. The shell dog itself is 4" high. Restored to a black finish or can be painted to match your home.

Victorian figural shutter dogs in cast iron, circa 1875. Dogs are on square mounting plates measuring 2" square for a frame house. Dog itself measures 4 1/2" high overall with a 3 1/2" drop from center. The counter-weight medallions measure 2 1/4" in diameter and depict a lady's head (close-ups shown below for more detail). Restored and complete with a black finish - ready to mount. Dogs show pitting from weather and exposure.

Cast iron side sash locks, circa 1885, in their original bronze plated finish. Measuring approximately 2" high x 1" wide at the mount plate while the arm extends 1 1/2". These locks were mounted on the window sash - the arm moves up and down and pushes the pressure plate on the left in and out. Shown extended in photo below which locks the window and unlocked or withdrawn in photo above. This pressure plate will hold the window closed or open in any position with pressure on the window sill. The side sash lock itself comes apart into three pieces as pictured below right and are assembled when mounting. Restored and complete with screws.

A turn arm style window or sash lock in the decorative cast iron, manufactured circa 1880. The lock secures the window by turning the mechanism catch into the keeper. Lock base measures 2 1/2" x 1 1/8" while keeper measures 1/2" wide. Restored, complete, and ready to install - comes with slotted wood screws.
