Decorative cast iron side sash locks, circa 1885.  Measuring  approximately 2 1/4" overall x 1".  Face plate is 1 9/16" high x 1/4" wide.  Mount is 1 5/8" high x 1" wide.  These locks were mounted on the window sash - the arm moves up and down and pushes the pressure plate on the left in and out.  This pressure plate will hold the window closed or open in any position with pressure on the window sill.  Locked position pictured with plate extended.  Unlocked position below with plate retracted.  Complete with slotted wood screws.

Cast iron Victorian shell shutter dogs, manufactured in the last half of the 19th century.  These dogs are mounted on long arms to be mounted on the exterior window sill primarily for stone or brick houses.  The shell dog itself is 4" high.  Restored to a black finish or can be painted to  match your home.

Cast iron side sash locks, circa 1885, in their original bronze plated finish.  Measuring  approximately 2" high x 1" wide at the mount plate while the arm extends 1 1/2".  These locks were mounted on the window sash - the arm moves up and down and pushes the pressure plate on the left in and out.  Shown extended in photo below which locks the window and unlocked or withdrawn in photo above.  This pressure plate will hold the window closed or open in any position with pressure on the window sill.  The side sash lock itself comes apart into three pieces as pictured below right and are assembled when mounting.  Restored and complete with screws.

 Small decorative cast iron armed catches originally manufactured for use on interior shutters, circa 1880.  Each catch measures 2 1/2" wide when in closed position x 1 1/2" high.  The arms are hooked at the end as shown below and extend approximately 2".  Restored and complete with slotted mounting screws.
