   Early swing arm style sash locks with a patent dates imprinted of  Apr. 3, 1877, in ornate cast iron.  Locks measure 2 1/2" x 1 3/8" at the base and the arm extends 1" beyond back of base.  The keeper is 2 1/2" x 15/16" wide to mount.  The rounded  knob on the back of the arm releases the swing arm from the locked position when turned counter-clockwise (very slight turn to operate).  Locks are restored and complete - comes with slotted wood screws.

Ives Patent sash locks from the 1870's in decorative cast iron with ornate bronze top finial and lever.  Locks measure 2" wide x 1 1/4" deep at the base without the keeper which is 2" x 3/4" deep.  The lever moves the swing arm into the catch on the keeper to lock and out of the keeper to unlock.  Restored and complete - comes with slotted wood screws.

Colonial hand wrought shutter dogs or turn buckles, circa 1800, with nice rat-tail curls on counterweights.  Spikes measure approximately 5" while the dogs or stays measure 5 1/2" x 1 1/4".   Dogs show heavy pitting from outdoor weathering but are nicely formed early dogs.  Made with spikes to drive into mortar on brick or stone to hold the shutters back against the exterior wall when open.
