Early swing arm cast iron Victorian sash or window locks, manufactured circa 1890's. Arm swivels and catches under the edge of the keeper. Base measures 2 1/2" x 3/4" and keeper measure 2 1/8" x 1" needed to mount. Arm extends 2" and has a nicely formed finial in cast iron. Side photo below shows arm detail. The cone shaped pivot cap is brass. These locks have never been used and are still in their original black over iron finish which shows some loss of finish due to time and storage conditions. The springs, however, are like new as they have never been used and are quite strong.
