Set of flush mount wrought steel sash lifts, circa 1910, in their original dull brass or antique brass finish.  These lifts were used primarily in pairs on larger double hung windows and occasionally used vertically on small sliding doors.  Measuring 3 1/2" wide x 1 1/4" high overall and need a cutout in the window measuring 2 1/4" wide x  3/4" high x 3/8" deep. Close-up shown below.

  Set of four matching early Victorian side sash locks in cast iron.  Locks measure 2 3/8" high x 1 1/4" deep overall with arm extensions of 1 1/2".  Locks are mounted in the window track under the sash stop to lock the window.

Circa 1860, early Victorian cast iron interior shutter catches for multiple positions of the shutters from closed to several open positions.  Curved arm accommodates a shutter ajar to allow air circulation without being totally unsecured.  The arms extend 4" with the member mount measuring 1 3/4" high x 1/2".  The keeper is 1 5/8" x 7/8".   Restored and complete with slotted mount screws.

Victorian shell style shutter dogs in cast iron, circa 1880.  Dogs are on bars to be mounted on the window sill, used primarily on stone or brick houses to hold the exterior shutters secure against the house while open.  Dog itself measures 4" high while the bar measures approximately 9".  Restored and in a applied black finish suitable for exterior use.

 Original antique Colonial hand wrought shutter dogs or turn buckles, circa 1800 - the original "S" shutter dogs which were very rare.  These dogs or stays measure 4 1/2" high x 1 1/2".   These dogs were made to drive into mortar on brick houses to hold the shutters back against the exterior wall when open.  One pair is as pictured above.
