18th century wrought iron open-work furniture lock for a Kas cupboard or wardrobe door or drawer with original hollow key   Surface flush mount vertical lock and mounts on the inside surface at the top of a door or a large drawer on the bottom of cupboards.  Measures 4  1/2" high x 2  3/4" at widest bottom edge.  Selvedge is  3" from top edge to center of rounded portion of key way.  Lock extends out 3/4".  Key is 3" will fit a 1" board thickness maximum.  In good condition and working well.  Beautifully made with fine early detail and showing open works when mounted and door is open.
