A large Circa 1800 brass rim lock with original brass stirrups.  Not reversible left hand only  and measures 9" deep x 5" high x 1 1/8"without the keeper which is 1  1/4"" across additional.   This lock has a partially open early back with iron works.   Lock is complete with early original brass stirrups (2 1/8" across - 2" drop).   Brass rosette and key escutcheon are included.  The original iron key measures 4 1/2".  The lock has a slide privacy bolt located at the bottom edge operated by the brass finger slide for interior privacy as well as the keyed dead bolt in the center.  In excellent condition with fine quality works and a polished finish,  Fine early  brass period rim lock.
Stirrups are currently spaced for a 2  1/4" door thickness, but can be spaced to fit buyer's  door thickness prior to shipping - please provide this measurement by phone or email.
