18th century Suffolk dominant upper cusp style thumb latch in wrought iron, restored and complete.  Thumb press is flat and early notched with a straight lift which will accommodate a door up to 1 1/2" thick without modification.  Handle measures 10" high x 1 7/8" across upper cusp and 1 1/4" on lower cusp.  Hand grasp has a 5 1/2" grip and is nicely rounded.  A well executed early thumb latch well executed .  Shows a nice early early repair on the thumb press hole underside.  The bar set is a new steel replacement with a  6 1/2" bar, a 1 1/2" high drive-in staple with 1 3/4" drive-in prongs, and a drive-in jamb keeper 2 5/8" overall.  Complete with mounting screws.
