Early non-reversible American wrought iron entry rim lock, circa 1800, a quality lock in good working condition, restored to black finish, and complete.  Lock body measures 7" deep x 4 1/2" high x 1 1/8" without the keeper which is additional 1 1/4" with brass trim.  Lock is non-reversible, left hand only.  Early original narrow neck brass knobs measure 1 1/2" in diameter.  Original brass rosette  is 1 1/8" in diameter.  Brass key escutcheon ( 2" x 1 1/2") is new replacement made in our shop.   Original iron key is 4 1/8".  Lock offers a slide privacy bolt as well as keyed dead bolt operated by the brass finger slide seen at the bottom edge of the lock body.  Quality iron works shown in photo below from back.  Knobs are spaced to fit a 1" door present.  Complete with slotted screws - ready for installation.
