Early non-reversible American wrought iron entry rim lock, circa 1800, a quality lock in good working condition, restored to black finish, and complete. Lock body measures 9 1/8" deep x 6 1/2" high x 1 1/4" - the keeper is an additional 1 1/2" on the jamb with brass trim. Lock is non-reversible, right hand only. Early original narrow neck brass knobs measure 2 1/8" in diameter with original rosette. Brass key escutcheon ( 3 1/2" high) is a replacement from our shop. Brass key is 6 3/4". Quality iron works are shown in photo below from back. Complete with slotted screws - ready for installation.
This lock is very heavy with smooth action - an exceptional early American entry rim lock.
