Description

Early non-reversible wrought iron rim lock, circa 1800, a quality lock in restored working condition. Lock body measures 5" deep x 3 1/2" high x 3/4" without the keeper which is additional 1 1/4" additional mounted on the door jamb.. Lock is non-reversible, right hand only. Early original narrow neck brass knobs have the center nut mount and measure 1 1/2" in diameter. Includes original brass key escutcheon (1 9/16" x 1 1/8") and a new replacement brass rosette (1 1/2" dia.) made in our shop. Quality iron works shown in photo below from back. Knobs are currently space for a 1" door. Complete with slotted screws - ready for installation.

We will modify knobs to fit buyer's door thickness upon request by phone or email.
