Description

Set of four matching antique cupboard or cabinet latches in plain cast iron with pointed ends and porcelain knobs, manufactured circa 1860, White porcelain knobs on slides are all working well and with good springs. Measures 1 3/8" high x 2 1/4" deep without the keeper which is additional 1" wide and mounts on the stile. Porcelain knob operators pull back to retract catch. In as found condition with original untouched finish showing remnants of original black. Porcelain knobs are all firmly attached with no damage. Latches show age and wear but are in remarkably good condition overall. Purchase is for matching set of 4 complete catches.
