Horizontal Corbin Shield Cast Iron Rim Lock 245-442

Circa 1885 horizontal rim lock which mounts on the surface of the door.  Locks show the Corbin USA shield logo imprinted on both sides with small corner embellishments.  Measures 3 1/4" high x 4 1/8" deep and is reversible.  Keeper is 3/4" additional.   Lock has a night latch on the back edge of the lock which allows you to lock the door knobs for privacy without using the keyed bolt.  Restored to black finish with original brown mineral door knobs and cast iron rosette, cast iron key escutcheon, and one key.  Knobs can be changed to white porcelain upon request in the Comments Section.  Comes with slotted screws.
