Large cast iron rim lock, circa 1880. with Reading Hardware Co. logo impressed on the left hand surface as pictured.  Lock measures 3 1/2" high x 5" without the keeper and is reversible.  Keeper measures 78" additional.  Lock is restored to black finish and is in excellent condition.  A night latch is located on the back edge which allows the knobs to be locked for privacy rather than using the keyed dead bolt.  Complete with original white porcelain  knobs, cast iron rosette, key escutcheon, and one key.  Comes with slotted screws.
