A late 1850's version of the original 1842 reversible cast iron rim lock with original lipped keeper.  Lock is the same on both sides with a latch that is beveled on all sides.  This latch and keeper allowed the lock to be reversed simply by turning it over and mounting it on whichever side of the door you wished.  Nigh latch at the top of the lock locks the knobs for privacy without using the keyed dead bolt.  Lock is restored and complete with original mineral knobs and cast iron trim. Lock measures 4 1/8" x 3 3/8" and is keyed.  Restored, complete, working very well, and ready to install.
