Ornate cast iron horizontal rim lock manufactured circa 1890's, with the letters S H Co. in a circle.  These locks were made circa 1890.  Lock measures 3 1/4" x 4 1/4" and is reversible, restored to a black finish, and complete with original black jet pottery  door knobs,  Also includes original cast iron trim with key escutcheon and rosette.  One key.  Lock has a finger operator on the bottom edge that slides a privacy bolt in and out.  Latch, keyed dead bolt, and slide privacy bolt configuration.   Keeper measures 7/8" additional on jamb.  Back set is about 3 1/4" to knob center.   Very good working condition
